Barr. Temilolu Nurudeen Ashamu

Position: Commissioner for Energy & Mineral Resources

Barr. Temilolu Nurudeen Oluwaseun Ashamu is the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources. He hails from Atiba local government area of Oyo. Born in 1987, he is a transaction lawyer trained in the United Kingdom and Nigeria with solid experience in commercial law, foreign investments, taxation, labour law, banking and finance law, free zone regulation, arbitration as well as civil and criminal litigation.

He attended the University of Kent, UK graduating with an LL.B. (Hons.) degree and obtained a Masters of Law degree from University College London (UCL), University of London, UK. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Law Society, UK and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), UK.
